The Full Story
Cedar Grove is located just off the shores of Tanwax lake within the historical Camp Lakeview property in Graham, Washington. The property itself has been around since the 1920s and has been beautifully restored into a retreat center and private campground that has served as a staple within the local community for almost 100 years. In the 1930s, our Timber Lodge was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, a work relief program established by FDR's New Deal legislation to combat the high unemployment rates brought about by the Great Depression. Our Cedar Lodge was built in the 1940s as a retreat center for officers of the Army Air Corps. Since then, Camp Lakeview has been known for its humanitarian initiatives, hosting church groups and organizations to make a difference within the local community.
In 2022, Camp Lakeview was purchased by the current owners who were captivated by the property's natural beauty, heart-warming traditions, and vast potential. Today, Camp Lakeview is proud to present Cedar Grove, a premier South Sound property with indoor and outdoor venues, perfect for all your special occasions.
